LAUREN FARMS PRAWN TARTS


  • 1 lb. prawns, peeled, deveined, cooked and chopped
  • 1/2 grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 3 oz. cream cheese, softened Easy and elegant. Always.
  • 1/4 cup sour cream a favorite!
  • 1 green onion, minced
  • 1/2 tsp. Cajun seasoning of choice
  • 2 (2.1 oz) packages frozen mini phyllo-pastry shells
1. Stir together prawns, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese and next four ingredients.

2. Cover and chill overnight for 8 hours.

3. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

4. Fill baked pastry shells with prawn mixture. Place on baking sheets and
sprinkle evenly with remaining Parmesan cheese.

5. Bake 10-15 minutes or until thoroughly heated.

         Serve Immediately.
         Yield: 2 dozen tarts.
